<p>Imaginemos o seguinte cenário: está na secção dos frescos de um qualquer supermercado e eis que uns brócolos muito pomposos, firmes e verdejantes lhe saltam à vista. Não resiste em levá-los para casa, já a pensar nas muitas receitas onde os possa usar. Chegados à cozinha, qual a percentagem que costuma aproveitar? 30%? 60%?</p>



<p>Já por aqui falei várias vezes dessa tendência persistente que acontece na culinária doméstica de valorizar apenas as partes mais vistosas e conhecidas dos alimentos, ao mesmo tempo que outras, igualmente nutritivas e saborosas, são frequentemente deixadas de lado.</p>

<p>Um exemplo perfeito disso são os talos dos brócolos. Se, por um lado, os floretes macios e viçosos costumam ser os protagonistas de variados pratos, por outro, temos os caules, robustos e fibrosos, que acabam quase sempre relegados ao lixo sem qualquer pingo de misericórdia.</p>



<p>Parece pouco &#8211; desperdiçar um talo aqui e ali &#8211; mas, com o passar dos anos, são quilos e quilos de comida perfeitamente comestível desperdiçados.</p>



<p>A verdade é que, por trás da sua aparência modesta, os talos dos brócolos guardam uma riqueza de nutrientes que não deve ser menosprezada. São uma excelente fonte de fibras, vitaminas C e K, bem como de minerais como o cálcio e o ferro. Isto já para não falar da quantidade significativa de antioxidantes que ajudam a combater os danos dos radicais livres no corpo. Não dá para negar que são um aliado fortíssimo para melhorar a digestão, a saúde óssea e reforçar a imunidade. Tudo bons motivos, portanto, para que sejam incluídos na nossa cozinha.</p>

<p>E já que o tempo quente se torna convidativo para refeições mais leves, trago como sugestão um petisco de origem árabe. O húmus, que galgou fronteiras e se tornou popular também no Ocidente, é tradicionalmente composto por uma pasta à base de grão-de-bico aromatizada com sumo de limão, sementes de sésamo e azeite. Nesta versão, como é fácil de adivinhar, a leguminosa dá lugar aos talos dos brócolos. A receita é muito prática de fazer, não requer grandes habilidades culinárias e o resultado é um creme muito versátil, perfeito para enriquecer <em>wraps</em> e sanduíches ou como <em>dip</em> para mergulhar pão <em>pita</em>, tostas ou vegetais crus como talos de aipo, palitos de cenoura ou pepino.<a href="https://www.luismiguelcosta.pt/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=post"></a></p>

Adicione os talos e cozinhe por 10 minutos até ficarem macios. </li><li id="wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-666ff0867b578" class="direction-step">Escorra os vegetais e mergulhe-os numa taça com água e gelo e deixe arrefecer. </li><li id="wpzoom-rcb-direction-step-666ff0867b579" class="direction-step">Escorra novamente os talos e coloque-os no processador de alimentos juntamente com os restantes ingredientes. <p>Frango shawarma é aquele prato que nos remete de imediato para o Médio Oriente. <p>Gostam de pizza? E de húmus? Se responderam ‘sim’ a estas duas perguntas, tenho a certeza que vão adorar esta receita. É uma verdadeira ode aos sabores mediterrâneos. Uma viagem gastronómica com escala em Itália, Grécia e Médio Oriente.</p>



<p>Nesta versão, o molho de tomate habitual é substituído pelo húmus da @mezete_global, o que a torna única e bem diferente da tradicional. Uma opção bastante nutritiva, com alto teor de fibra e muito prática. É só abrir a embalagem e já está!</p>

<p>Sim, já sei que estão a pensar:&nbsp;<em>&#8220;mas fazer pizza dá imenso trabalho&#8221;</em>. Digo-vos já que não é assim nenhum bicho de sete cabeças. Preparar uma pizza caseira é das coisas mais simples e básicas. Tudo o que precisam é de farinha, fermento biológico, água, um pouco de açúcar, sal e azeite. São tão poucos os ingredientes que, de certeza, terão aí por casa. É só misturar, esperar que a massa levede e está pronta a ir ao forno. E olhem que vale muito a pena a espera! E, agora que começam as férias escolares, nada como pedir ajuda à criançada para porem as mãos na massa. Eles vão adorar a experiência e uma par de mãos extra sabe sempre bem.&nbsp;</p>



<p>A cobertura fica um pouco ao vosso critério. No entanto, rúcula, queijo feta, cebola roxa e tomate cereja é aquela combinação que resulta na perfeição. Uma óptima sugestão que pode ser apreciada como aperitivo, acompanhamento ou refeição leve.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Se ficaram a salivar, já sabem o que têm a fazer: toca a vestir o avental e ligar o forno. &nbsp;</p>
